Moscow (Reuters)-Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard Forces have been dropping a foreign reconnaissance aircraft during military exercises in Southeast Iran, the official IRNA news agency said, RIA Novosti reported.
A spy plane unmanned menyelonong on the outskirts of medan foreign exercises Payambar-e Azam war 8 on Saturday, said a spokesman for the military exercises, General Hamid Sarkheili was quoted as saying by the news agency.
The news agency did not give details about the origins of the unmanned aircraft.
Iran has claimed to have captured several unmanned United States aircraft.
In December 2011, Iran said it had arrested a spy plane unmanned CIA which entered airspace.
Iran claims to have tapped into confidential data from the aircraft without crew-stealth-tech equipped with Sentinel RQ-170. (AK)
