Pollster John Zogby updates our weekly Obama Report Card with a grade on the president's performance. Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis and interaction with major players to come up with a grade and some comments that capture how he sees the president's week ending.

"A Senate majority supported the president's jobs bill, with every Republican opposed. Obama is counting on the bill staying popular and using it to hammer Republicans. Unfortunately for him, two Democrats up for election next year voted no, allowing the GOP to say opposition was bipartisan. People on the streets in the growing Occupy Wall Street (and other cities) are sick of the gamesmanship by both parties. Obama is keeping the movement at arm's length, and should realize it is in part a repudiation of him, and that he can't count on these angry voters' support a year from now. The week's best news for Obama may have come from big business leaders who hold nearly all the seats on his Jobs Council. The council's interim report is very similar to Obama's own jobs plan. Maybe Obama has more business friends in high places than people think."
