Boroujerdi: Iran will not cover the installation of underground Fordow enrichment

When denied reports the media recently about the State of the world's major decision to ease sanctions on Iran in return for the closure of the Fordow, Boroujerdi--leader of the Commission for foreign policy and national security in the Majlis (Parliament) of Iran--as reported semi-official news agency ISNA says, "installation of the Fordow will never close."
Western Media, Saturday, reported the P5 + 1--United States, United Kingdom, France, China and Russia--plus Germany are working on a proposal that will be presented in talks with Iran to defuse nuclear sanctions over trade in gold and other precious metals with Iran in return for the closure of the Fordow uranium enrichment installations.

According to the report, the offer will be presented in the upcoming talks between Iran and the P5 + 1, which is scheduled on February 26, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Boroujerdi told ISNA that Iran has been building the Fordow installation to maintain its nuclear installations in the face of threats from Israel, Xinhua reported.

Installation of the Fordow, near the Shiite Holy City in Central Iran, Qom, used to produce enriched uranium with a purity of up to 20 percent.

Boroujerdi on Sunday also asserted, "If America thinks they can stop the activity (nuclear) peaceful Iran with increasing pressure, they do act in vain."

As quoted in Press TV, Boroujerdi said, "Iran will continue to develop a peaceful nuclear energy program with the basic rules of Bada (International Atomic Energy) and within the framework of peaceful purposes."

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Council of Iran Ali Larijani said u.s. officials broadcast a proganda through direct talks with Iran about a proposed nuclear program, said the State of the Persian Tehran Times on Sunday.

On February 2, US Vice President Joe Biden said the United States is ready to hold direct talks with Iran about the nuclear program of the country when Iran's leaders "are serious".

The U.S. proposal for direct talks with the Islamic Republic it was propaganda, said Larijani. Additionaly, the United States attempted to influence the determination of Iran by raising such issues.

They are mired in the trap with the trust that kind of rhetoric might provide a golden opportunity to the enemy, he added.

Other members of the Parliament of Iran Ebrahim Aqa-Mohammadi also said the United States would have to denounce the policy of threats and sanksinya against Iran before Tehran are considering entering talks with Washington, according to Press TV's report on Sunday. (C003)
