(INTERMEDIATE/REUTERS/Omar Sobhani/ox/11.)Islamabad (Reuters)-Pakistan and the Palestinians have agreed to form a joint Commission made up of Foreign Ministers of the two countries in order to expand the existing political cooperation to other areas, according to local media reports.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, during talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Islamabad, Pakistan, said the Joint Commission would soon be established formally.
Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar said Zardari's Pakistan also offers grants amounting to one million u.s. dollars for the construction of a Palestinian Embassy in Islamabad.
Zardari said the two rounds of talks were held covering a number of issues ranging from the status of a Palestinian State was fought until the issue of bilateral and the situation in the Middle East until the peace process bogged down.
Problems in relations with Israel with the Palestine Center of attention on construction of settlements by Israel which continues and referrals within the body of a Palestinian was also a topic of conversation, according to the Xinhua report.

Abbas also briefed Zardari about the idea of Peace to the Arabs, who also handles the concerns of Israel but has been ignored by Israel.
Meanwhile, Zardari--who welcomed the Palestinian President in his visit to Pakistan--said Pakistan believed in the right to self-determination was the right of the Palestinian people that is undeniable.
He said Pakistan has supported all efforts aimed at resolving the Palestinian dispute in line with UN Security Council resolution that are relevant for a lasting peace in the region.
The Pakistani President said Islamabad has called for the withdrawal of Israel from all Arab territories including Jerusalem, serving end the construction of settlements, the restoration of the rights of the Palestinian people that cannot be denied and the establishment of an independent State for Palestinians with Jerusalem as its capital.
