Iran: U.S. sanctions raise the tension

Dubai (Reuters)-Iran Foreign Ministry Friday said that the United States on sanctions this week aimed at suppressing peaceful nuclear activities of Iran are thus raised the political tension in the Islamic State.

Washington has imposed sanctions on Iran's main institutions responsible for the news broadcast on Wednesday and helped the Government censoring reports from Western media.

The U.S. also is targeting the prevention sector of Iran's oil revenues in order not to develop atomic programmes.

The West believes Iran is developing nuclear weapons, though Iran recognizes that program used for peaceful purposes.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, on Thursday refused to talk directly with us and said that Iran would not be intimidated in the pressure and the threat of military action.
