Mali's Army elite troops in the camp attack Bamako

Bamako, Mali (ANTARA News)-the firefight broke out in the capital of Mali, Bamako when the army attacked a camp of the elite troops loyal to the deposed President Amadou Toumani Toure, said military sources and eye witnesses told AFP.
"From 06.00 local time (13: 00 GMT) a heavily armed soldiers from all the Union attacked the camp," said Yaya Bouare, one of the "Red Beret" inside the camp who attacked it. "A lot of the injuries in the camp."
The latest clash between Mali's Army factions hostile to occur on the same day when a suicide bomber targeting soldiers in the city of Gao to the South after hard-line Islamic groups are removed.
Bamako residents living near barracks that confirm the attack and one of them said troops of the elite "Red Beret" opened fire warnings Thursday night.
Bouare attack was said had to do with a statement by the Defense Chief of staff of the army General Tahairou Dembele on national television earlier this week, who ordered the troops to the front lines of the paratroop war led by France against hard-line groups in the North.
"Because we are facing these problems in the North, you have to go and fight for your brethren with weapons", he said and added he decided to cooperate with the elite forces in other entities.
