The Chechen leader and his forces are accused by human rights activists of torture and murder of opponents. Ms Swank issued the statement after Human Rights Watch criticised her, along with fellow guests Belgian actor Jean Claude Van Damme and British violinist Vanessa Mae.It's US journalist, author and television presenter Barbara Walters - who is her second cousin.
