He said back in May that he wasn't going to run ,but now former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee looks to be joining the seemingly ever-expanding group of GOP politicians pondering last minute bids for the White House.
Reuters reported that two sources close to Huckabee confirmed that he's reconsidering getting in the race after announcing in May on his Fox News show that he'd sit 2012 out.
Huckabee joins New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as potentials who haven't made up their minds yet as to whether or not they'll seek the nomination.

With Texas Gov. Rick Perry faltering after a strong entrance to the GOP race, Republicans are looking for another evangelical Christian conservative to fill the void. Huckabee might just be their guy with a background as a Baptist minister and partly-line views on social issues such as abortion,[See a slide show of GOP 2012 contenders.]He'll have to decide quickly though because deadlines to get his name on the ballots in several early primary states including South Carolina and New Hampshire are quickly approaching.

Huckabee ran for the nomination in 2008 and broke away from the pack when he won the Iowa Caucus. There is a question, however, if this late in the game Huckabee could effectively make fundraising goals necessary to be a frontrunner.
