TAMPA (Florida) - A supervisor of rescuer of 21 years at the Park of water in Florida was killed at the attraction that he worked on a was struck by lightning, the Tampa Tribune reported Sunday.
Justin Inversso worked Saturday to bring people out of Key West 700 feet high Rapids Ride in the Adventure Island Water Park in Tampa, Florida, cause of a storm in reverse when lightning struck the journey through 11: 49
Inversso stood in the 2 to 3 metres of water at the time of the lightning.
Park employees shot him water and administered CPR before arrived it from Tampa Fire Rescue workers a few minutes later. He was taken to the local hospital, where he died.
The Quick Key West ride was closed Saturday, but the Park remained open.
Inversso father, Frank Inversso, said his son as a rescuer working was associated with his work as a teacher of the youth Sunday school.
"The young man is to preserve the life and soul," said Frank Inversso. "If there is a place like the sky, it is definitely welcome."
