2nd Arizona Crime Scene gives Sting ATF guns

PHOENIX - The authorities say guns related to negligent investigation of federal weapons-smuggling have been recovered on a second Arizona crime scene.

The Arizona Republic reports two guns were found in the back of a car stolen in Maricopa last year who rammed two vehicles Arizona Department of public safety.

Federal agents contacted the DPS this week and said that a trace Cannon revealed that they were part of a sting Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and explosives which inadvertently hundreds of weapons purchased at gun stores put Arizona into the hands of Mexican criminals.

The probe was known as operation Fast and Furious.

Two guns were also recovered to a shooting incident of December in Rio Rico, where a border patrol officer was shot dead.
