Sri Lanka restrict selling land to foreigners

Colombo (Reuters)-Sri Lanka decided to ban the sale of land to foreigners, after local authorities found that the fact foreign investors are buying land not contribute economic benefits Sri Lanka to the State, the Government of Sri Lanka as quoted Reuters.

Prime Minister Boiko Borisov has tried to stop the protest with dismiss Finance Minister, promised to reduce the price of electricity, and also punish foreign companies. But those steps have failed to ease the disappointment.

"I'm not going to be part of the Government in which the police were beating people," said Borisov announced his resignation today, Wednesday. The Parliament itself is expected to accept the resignation of Borisov on Wednesday night.

With the parliamentary system, Borisov could form a new cabinet by using the GERB party is dominant in Parliament as a political vehicle. If he fails, then the election is scheduled to take place in July will be brought forward.

Civil servants in Malawi national demonstration titles

Turkey Kurdish guerrillas attack jets in Iraq

Diyarbakir, Turkey (Reuters)-Turkey sent several fighter jets across its borders with Iraq to attack the guerrillas of the Kurdistan Workers ' Party (PKK), said a local military sources Thursday.

Turkey's military launched air attacks and ground operations are limited to the northern Iraq since August 2011 following the wave of attacks, the PKK guerrillas after the traffic-jammed a ceasefire before.

The PKK launched attacks from their hiding places in the remote mountains of Iraq as part of their war to gain greater rights and autonomy for the Kurdish population.

More than 40,000 people have died since the PKK took up arms in 1984.

Suicide bombing kills three policemen in Mosul, Iraq

Mosul, Iraq (Reuters)-Three suicide bomb attacks against checkpoints in Mosul, Northern Iraq, killing three police on Thursday night, police sources said.

Iraq's Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki (Shiite) since December 2011 sought the arrest of Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi on charges of terrorism and attempting to dismiss Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-absolute. Both are Sunni leaders.

The scholars warn that Maliki is encouraging sectarian divisions, and protestors gathered in the streets of Iraq by carrying banners in support of the Government and criticized Hashemi.
