"The sum of $30,000 can only go so far towards expenditure that some of you have," Doggett said. "" "". "But I think it can be much help."
On Monday, schools will be open for the first time since the Bastrop blaze broke out. Many people live in the city Super 8, Best Western and Holiday Inn which will stop all three school buses.
Director of the emergency management County Mike Fisher said that the blaze of Bastrop is now contained 50 percent.
