NEW YORK - Hundreds of people are gathered in lower Manhattan to hold the hands after the terrorist attacks of September 11.
Families, youth and others held hands as a Bell clanged 08: 46 Saturday to serve both the first of two hijacked planes crashed in the North of the World Trade Center Tower.
The Group has created a straight line winds its way along the southern tip of Manhattan and an exhibition of American flags, displayed to honour the dead.
After a moment of silence, the group entered applause. Some people were crying. Others - including foreigners - hugged.
Manhattan resident Dino Fusco brought her two daughters to the event. The father, 45 years old, said that it is important to pay tribute and to learn about the history of the country, even when it's sad.
