"Because of the security assessment it was decided that the Kerem Shalom crossing will be opened tomorrow for transport of goods," the Agency's statement said Israel's Defense Ministry to coordinate it with the Palestinians Sunday, reported AFP.
"This is the first time the crossing to be opened since the last rocket attacks on Ashkelon," a town in southern Israel.
Israel has closed the crossings for commercial operations to the South of the Gaza Strip and also restrict access to Israel through the Erez crossing after a rocket from Gaza hit Israel on Tuesday.
A Defence Ministry spokesman told AFP, saying that the Erez will also continue its activities normally on Monday.
The attack marked the first time guerrillas fired a projectile in perbatasa more than three months after the cease-fire deal brokered Egypt, which ended a deadly eight-day battle in November.
Gaza fighters initially claimed they had fired the rockets in response to the death of a Palestinian prisoner in Israel jails.
The border remained tense over the weekend, with three Palestinians wounded by Israel fire, and shot from the Gaza Strip hit Israel military vehicles.
Four Palestinians were killed by Israel gunfire and more than 100 wounded since a truce between the Jewish State of 21 November and Hamas as the ruler of Gaza, according to the latest report of the UN Office for the coordination of humanitarian assistance (OCHA). (AK)
