Jerusalem (News and Us) - Anggota Knesset (Parlemen) Israel memberi suara yang mendukung rancangan peraturan yang akan melarang warga dari "negara musuh" menuntut negeri tersebut, demikian laporan Jerusalem Post, Rabu.

Peraturan tersebut diberi nama "Dirani Bill", yang merujuk kepada gerilyawan Lebanon Mustafa Dirani --yang saat ini menuntut ganti rugi dari Israel.

Dirani, mantan anggota milisi Syiah di Lebanon, diculik oleh personel pasukan komando Israel pada 1994, sewaktu ia diduga mengetahui nasib pilot Angkatan Udara Israel Ron Arad --yang ditangkap oleh anggota milisi Dirani satu dasawarsa sebelumnya.

Sebaliknya, anggota kelompok sayap-kiri di Knesset Tamar Zandberg --dari Partai Meretz-- yang menentang rancangan tersebut, mengatakan warga dari negara musuh yang disiksa di Israel masih memiliki hak, tak peduli apa kondisi diplomatik dengan negara yang bersangkutan.

Beirut (News and Us)-the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Tuesday (7/4), insists Israel must withdraw from the northern part of Ghajar, a Village on the border of Lebanon.

Control over Ghajar has been repeatedly moved the hand. Three hundred years ago, the village was known as Taranjeh. The village was given the name of Ghajar under the rule of the Ottoman Empire (Ottoman Empire), when the land was seized from villagers by the Kurdish people and sold by force.

According to local legend, the Kurdish Governor tried to ride his horse ever Ghajar on the graves of pious people, Sheikh Al-Arba'in. The reason is that they think of themselves as people of Syria, as the majority of the citizens of the Golan.

UNICEF: Israel persecuted Palestinian children

Israel will reopen the goods crossings of Gaza

The attack marked the first time guerrillas fired a projectile in perbatasa more than three months after the cease-fire deal brokered Egypt, which ended a deadly eight-day battle in November.

Fayyad was shocked over the death of the Palestinian prisoners in Israel

Ramallah, Palestinian territories (Reuters)-Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad expressed surprise over the death of a Palestinian in Israel's prison on Saturday and called for the full details of what happened.

Issa Qaraqaa, the Palestinian Minister in charge of prisoners Affairs, told AFP that Jaradat was arrested a few days earlier.

"He died during the investigation," added Qaraqaa.

"We demand the establishment of a Commission of inquiry to investigate the circumstances of his death international," he said.

Israel's internal intelligence service Shin Bet said Jaradat was arrested on Monday because of his involvement in the incident of stoning in November that caused an injured Israel.

He fell ill just before his death, the Shin Bet said in a statement.

"After lunch, when he was resting in the Megiddo prison, Arafat Jaradat was brought to the hospital. Paramedics were called to treat him but they were unable to save his life, "he added.

Clashes broke out in Hebron between Palestinian youths and the security forces of Israel after the death of Jaradat's news, said witnesses and security sources.

Relations between Israel and the Palestinian territories have been particularly tense since protests this month in solidarity with four other prisoners detained by Israel conducted a hunger strike action.

The prisoners ' club based in Ramallah announced that seven prisoners had joined the protests that, though there was no immediate confirmation from the prison service.

"Every Palestinian mother memprihatini her children because the image was now known and seen around the world," said Palestinian Government spokesman woman, Nour Odeh, Tuesday.

Officials of the United Nations and the European Union at the end of January, expressed concern over the series of incidents with Palestinians in the West Bank, who was killed by Israel troops shot.

In a separate statement, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator James Rawley and Eu representative in Jerusalem and Ramallah said security forces should stop the use of bullets.

In the first two weeks in January, four Palestinians were killed in separate incidents in the West Bank, including a woman and two children under age.

Rawley said he was very worried by the increase in casualties due to the use of shells by Israel's forces in sharp-occupied territories of the West Bank.

"Eight Palestinians, including three children and a woman, were killed since the middle of November in separate incidents in the West Bank," said the statement.

Ambassadors of the European Union are also concerned with the number of Palestinians who were killed recently in a separate incident involving Israel's Army shut down the magnitude.

Both the statement noted that Israel's army was reportedly investigating the incident, but urged the security forces in the West Bank to avoid the use of the bullet is sharp, unless absolutely necessary, according to Reuters.

Ramallah (Reuters)-about 800 Palestinians, who are languishing in jail, Israel refused food as their solidarity with four other prisoners who have been on a hunger strike.

According to the Prisoners ' Club, a group based in Ramallah, 800 prisoners in three prisons took part in the hunger strike a day, among them there are anggata of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Democratic Front for the liberation of and Palestine (DFLP).

Sivan, spokesman for the Agency post in Kepenjaraan Israel (IPS) confirm hundreds of detainees refused breakfast but said there were 500 prisoners in two facilities.

"Five hundred Palestinians refused breakfast. They will be refusing to eat day and night, "he told AFP on Tuesday.

Hunger strike a day it was the expression of their solidarity with the last four prisoners who have been doing a long hunger strike and their health caused protests in the West Bank as well as the statements of the anxiety of the group human rights groups and Western Governments.

A fourth man, Samer Issawi (33), Tareq Qaadan (40), Jafar Ezzedine (41), and Ayman Sharawna (36) has been refused food between two to seven months.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel has dismissed its deputy ambassador in Washington over an alleged 2009 leak to the media about secret discussions involving the United States, diplomatic sources said on Wednesday.

They said that Dan Arbell, formerly the deputy director for North American affairs at Israel's Foreign Ministry, was removed after another senior diplomat implicated in the case was cleared by the security services.

Israel's bedrock alliance with the United States has been bolstered by common concern about Iran's nuclear program, yet cracks have appeared as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama disagreed on how to pursue Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ilana Stein said: "A senior official is being returned after his tenure was brought to an end." She described the move as unusual, but declined to elaborate on the circumstances or the identity of the official.

The previous suspect in the alleged leak, Alon Bar, served at the time as the Foreign Ministry's deputy director for strategic affairs, a role devoted largely to monitoring Iran. Following a suspension, he was appointed ambassador to Spain.

Israeli media published closed-door comments last year by Michael Oren, Israel's ambassador to Washington, describing "a crisis of historic proportions" in bilateral ties after the Obama administration censured Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank.

Netanyahu has described such reports as overblown, noting Obama's public support for Israel's military build-up and, last month, its diplomatic campaign against a Palestinian bid to sidestep stalled peacemaking by appealing for U.N. membership.

Some Israeli diplomats have chafed at the reign of Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, an ultranationalist partner in Netanyahu's conservative coalition government who has often clashed openly with the prime minister over core policymaking.

The move comes days after Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas called for full UN membership for a Palestinian state.

The US has repeatedly urged Israel to stop building settlements on occupied Palestinian land.

Almost 500,000 Jews live in settlements on occupied territory. The settlements are illegal under international law, though Israel disputes this.

US-brokered peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians are deadlocked over the issue of Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Also on Tuesday, three UN special rapporteurs called for an immediate end to the demolition of Palestinian-owned homes and other structures in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

There had been a dramatic increase in the demolitions this year, they said.

"The impact and discriminatory nature of these demolitions and evictions is completely unacceptable," the rapporteurs on housing, water, sanitation and food rights said in a treatment.

"These actions by the Israeli authorities violate human rights and humanitarian law and must end immediately."

'Nice gift'

The latest plan includes the construction of small housing units, public buildings, a school and an industrial zone, according to the Ynet news website.

"It's a nice gift for Rosh Hashanah [Jewish New Year]," Yair Gabay, a member of the Jerusalem planning committee, told Ynet.

The authorities have now approved the building of almost 3,000 homes in Gilo over the past two years.

The US and United Nations criticised earlier announcements of building projects.

Israel built the settlement at Gilo on land it captured in 1967. It later annexed the area to the Jerusalem municipality in a move not recognised by the international community.

Israel says it does not consider areas within the Jerusalem municipality to be settlements.

Gilo lies across a narrow valley from the Palestinian village of Beit Jala. It became a target for militants during the second Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation in 2000.
